Chesterfield Land Site Sold to RISE Baseball

RISE Baseball has announced plans to build a $2.3 million, 30,000 square foot indoor center on land purchased in Chesterfield County at East Boundary Court and Old Hundred Road.  Byron Holmes of Porter Realty Company brokered the sale of the land.

The new facility will featured a full-size infield, 14 batting cages, clay pitching mounds, a gym and cafe.  RISE Baseball currently operates out of a 6,000 square foot facility in the Oak Lake Business Park.  Click here to read the full story.

E. Grice Galleher has purchased the 161.01 acres of land at 3212 Ladysmith Road and 3427 Jericho Road in Caroline County from James and Joyce Oliff. Kevin Cox handled the marketing and sale negotiations on the seller’s behalf.

Pepco Inc. has purchased the 103.79 acres at 1401 Portugee Road in Henrico County from Blakemore Construction Corp.  Cliff Porter handled the sale negotiations.

Carter Machinery Company Purchases Hanover County Land Site

Carter Machinery has purchased a 12-acre site on Richfood Road, off Route 301/Chamberlayne Avenue in Hanover County from M. Stephen Burnley and Verne C. Williamson. Bob Porter and Kevin Cox handled the sale negotiations.

Becknell Industrial Announces Acquisition of Airport Distribution Center

Chicago-based Becknell Industrial has completed the purchase of an 116,000 square foot multi-tenant distribution facility and 39.9 acres of land in the Airport Distribution Center located just outside of Richmond, Virginia in Henrico County’s East End.  Cliff Porter handled the sale on behalf of the seller, Birmingham-based Graham & Company, who purchased the site in 2006.  Becknell Industrial has retained Porter Realty Company as its exclusive agent for future development.  Click here for the full release.

Charles S. Pearson Jr. has purchased a 2,129 SF office condominium in Hanover County’s Rutland Center, the mixed use development named the best by Richmond’s Urban Land Institute. Kevin Cox handled the marketing and sale negotiations on the seller’s behalf.

Ashland Industrial Building Sells for $2.7MM

The 52,000-square-foot industrial building at 11250 Hopson Road in Hanover County has sold for $2,756,000.  The building sits on more than 3.6 acres of land.  Green Air Inc. purchased the property with plans to relocate its operation into 28,000 square feet of the building.  Porter Realty’s Kevin Cox handled the marketing and sale negotiations on the seller’s behalf.  Click here to read the full story at Virginia Business.
