Airport Distribution Center Lease Recognized by GRACRE

The Greater Richmond Association of Commercial Real Estate (GRACRE) presented its real estate awards for 2017 area projects and transactions, and named the lease of Building E at the Airport Distribution Center as the year’s best industrial lease. Premier Store Fixtures will be the sole occupant of Building E, a 216,000 square-foot, 32′ clear building featuring LED lighting, ESFR sprinkler system and 7″ unreinforced concrete slab, developed and built by Becknell Industrial. The facility was completed in the 4th quarter of 2016. Cliff Porter is the exclusive agent for Becknell’s sites in the East End park.

Bulk Industrial Space Leased at White Oak Distribution Center

Premier Fixtures LLC has leased 161,445 SF of bulk industrial space in Henrico County’s East End, in Building 300 of Hewlett Packard’s complex in the White Oak Distribution Center. The White Oak space will be in addition to their existing 230,000 SF plant near the Richmond International Airport, also in Henrico County. Clifford B. Porter, CCIM, SIOR, handled the lease negotiations on behalf of the tenant.
New York-based Premier Fixtures specializes in retail store fixtures and displays, with services ranging from design to manufacturing and logistics.
American Signature Leases Two Large Industrial Facilities

American Signature Inc. has leased two large industrial facilities in the Richmond area. The first facility includes 227,000 SF at the Richmond Distribution Center in Henrico County’s East End, and the second includes 218,144 SF of warehouse space at 14174 North Washington Highway in Hanover County. Bob Porter handled the lease negotiations for both facilities.
American Signature is the parent company of Value City Furniture and American Signature Furniture, both furniture retailers which operate more than 125 stores, five distribution center, three manufacturing facilities, and employ more than 5,000 associates in 19 states.
