Background
Dick graduated from the University of Tennessee 1976 with a B.S. Degree in General Business. He served in the Signal Corps of the U.S. Army for 3 1/2 years and was stationed in Europe. In 1980, he came to work in the family business, and since that time, he has specialized in the sales and leasing of industrial property.

Professional Affiliations and Achievements
He is a member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) and is a Past President of the Virginia SIOR Chapter. He also holds the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation. He received the Ruby Award in 2000 from the Richmond Association of Realtors, and has been recognized annually by the Richmond Association of Realtors' Distinguished Achiever Awards for high volume in sales and leasing. He is also a member of the West Richmond Business Men's Association and the River Road United Methodist Church.

  • Represented (locally) MeadWestvaco, Owner in the disposition of multiple properties totaling 502,286 square feet of industrial space.
  • Leased 317,000 square feet of industrial space to Wella USA
  • Sold Reynolds Metals (now Alcoa) a 279,000 square foot office and R&D manufacturing complex on 42.84 acres to Rivers Bend East Office Group and Technology Center, LLC corporate relocation
  • Sold 264,372 square feet former Dupont Warehouse complex and then represented the new owner in a 203,610 sf lease to Ryder Logistics.
  • Sold 50 acres to R&L Carriers for a truck terminal.
